Our Visit to Praia da Rocha in Algarve, Portugal (Pictures)

We visited Portimao and it's famous beach called Praia da Rocha, which means literally: Rock's Beach in English. In fact there is more than one giant rock. There are many spread out on the two km beach. This was the first beach resort in Algarve. It's also one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The beach stands on the Tomas Cabrera Avenue. Apparently, this is the Atlantic Ocean. It's in the western part of the province. Therefore the waters are colder and more dangerous. We spent a great afternoon in December of 2008 before we left for our resort Rocha Brava in Carvoeiro. We took many pictures.
