sleepless in sea-a-thail (-and)
Idon't think that the tales of adventure and mischief from Emily and Fee's second weekend in Thailand need any further introduction - their e-mail received on Monday 2nd July says it all.........
in between then and now we have been clubbing in the forest, swashbuckling on the high seas (involving highjacking boats & holding unsuspecting incoming tourists 2 ransome 4 fags). this behaviour was inspired by captain isaac (johhny roberts' doppelganger) who having only 24 hours left on the island, convinced us 2 stay up 4 our 2nd nite in a row (chemist doing roaring trade).
due to managing 3 nites without sleep our memories 4 the timing of the following events r unclear as a few days seem 2 have merged into each other:
--> em got refused trying 2 cash travellers cheques as she was 2 pissed to write her signature.
--> fee went AWOL altho she didn't realise this and had been innocently sitting in the bar.
--> em almost got decapitated while going 4 a wee on the beach in the dead of nite.
--> have met loads of fantastic folk, all of whom r dreadful influence
--> performed v badly in pool comp due to general condition
--> em refused to let bongo players stop playing (but saved one of their lives later)
there comes a point in everyones life when one must stop. this, however seems very far off. our lovely neighbours (2 girls from London) seem 2 b getting into more bother than us, so we r feeling quite pleased with ourselves!
have lost several things, tho nothing of 2 much importance, & most pleasingly - lots of weight. seem 2 b spending money like water despite eating nothing and having nothing 2 show 4 it!!
may get around 2 seeing more of the island but this is doubtful as we have decided against hiring a bike A) we cant drive one and B) many casualties hobbling around town..
after last few days feel sure FM party will b a breeze but will then have 2 leave 4 the sake of our general health!!
