No sooner have our intrepid explorers arrived in the capital city of Thailandski, than they're off.
Having introduced Koh San Road to partying "a la Emily and Fee" they have decided to up rucsacks and head south to hit the tropicial islands like a typhoon.
Everyone back in Edinburgh (and elsewhere around the world) heaves a sigh of relief that Bangkok will suffer no longer term psychological damage -- oh, and Fee and Emily are much better now too - they have recovered from mad-dog fights, ninja star attacks, table throwing competitions, the notorious "sang tip" and numerous falling-over games to name but a few of their exploits in only a few days stay in Bangkok.
Here is their e-mail received on the afternoon of Sunday 24th June:
well we can safely say that bangkok has been good 2 us. had a great last night last night - met up with our new mates (who were still speaking 2 us despite the fact that fee knocked over the whole table in the pub on the night we met!) the night got even more interesting when we met jimi hendrix (honest!) on the way home at 3 in the morning (editors note: aye, right) jimi persuaded us to have more beers with him and has offered us his hospitality on our return (if he's still alive that is).
anyway, have finally got our act together to do something other than drinking on ko san road, and we leave 2night on overnight bus to ko phangan should arrive about midday 2morrow will start practising 4 full moon party on 5th (joe and camerons b/days).
