FEEDER IN THE TOP 500 UK CHART ACTS OF ALL-TIME | ||||||
Now for my last ever piece of activity on the site, before I shut down for good and these pages are just inactive documents, no longer to be bothered with. I'd thought to end on a high note, and I've got some great news, well you've prolly already noticed after reading the big text at the top!lol!- Feeder are according to the ranking system that was used in the Guiness book of British Hit Singles and albums one of the most sucsessful UK chart acts of all time as they rank at #500 or above. After the guys played three rocking shows for the small but powerful charity Warchild in November, the year has only got better. The ranking is based on weeks on chart, with a tiebreaker if the act(s) are level on weeks, that tiebreaker is most weeks at #1, then #2, then #3 etc until a separation can be made. As the top 500 takes up a lot of the page, I thought I'd make the list an RTF downlaodable file. This top 500 has been conceived by using the data published in the very last edition (19th) of the book, and then using the chart data from every singles and albums chart compiled every week in 2006 (by searching Google, and chart message boards), to update the information, so it would look as it would have looked if there was a 20th edition for 2007 covering all chart activity between 1952-2006. Just because the book no longer exists, it does not mean whatsoever that Feeder breaking into the top 500 of all time should not be recognised. If the book did exist this year, there would have been a top 500 of all-time. So click here, to reveal the list, and it's goodbye from me for a very last time on a windy January day in 2007. Cheers, From Marc :). |
