I discovered my talent of painting in the 1998. I started out with acrylics on canvas. That soon grew to experimenting with different surfaces and textures. My painting helps express feelings and emotions "in the moment." I keep my form abstract to let the observer feel the image rather than just see what I felt. |

Sculpting |
In 2001, I picked up my first lump of polymer clay. My hands formed what my paint brush would paint. I found that my passion of dance carried on in my sculptures. My forms are mainly women and dancers. I am working on a series of abstract dancers right now. My influences come from Greek and Roman statues. The lines and flow they have inspire me to improve my own technique. |

I have been expressing myself thru various forms of art for over 17 years. I have performed and competed in theatrical dance for 16 years. My concentration were in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, and Modern. After dancing with local companies and college in Raleigh, North Carolina, I retired from the stage to pursue other avenues of self-expression and art. |
