For this tutorial you will need: 1. Paint Shop Pro:  download here 2. VM Plug-ins: download here We will use "Picture in a Picture". 3. Sandy Blairs Simple Plug-ins: download here We will use "Quick Tile". Some of  the examples in this tutorial will be framed in white for ease of viewing.

Open Paint Shop Pro, and open a new image, 200x200, white.  Flood fill with color #A76161, paper texture: weave. Go to image effects, filter browser, edges enhance. Your image will look like this:

Next, go to images, effects, weave and apply with the following settings, using these colors: a. Weave color: #C00000 b. gap color: #F2E0E0
