for the alcoholic beverages at the Stand, a few characters have discovered it
to be quite the “heated” experience. ;)
Actually, this page is just an informative place to find things that
often appear in the Stand with brief descriptions of what they are. The newly established group, the FNS
Regulars, can also be found here. The
Editions in italics after each of these things denote when the things debuted
at the Stand.

Just a quick history lesson on the
Fellip Nectar Stand; or rather pointed out milestones. Yuck, history, I know.

October 18th, 2000……The very first edition of
the FNS was born, written, torn from LeatherGirl’s brain. I posted it on the Scifi Bboard, where up to
this day, FNS editions are posted there weekly as well as on this site. Wanna see the first edition as it was? Well, here, I dug through the archives and
managed to find it, along with a few spoiled banana peels and an ounce of
Fellip Nectar remaining in an abandoned flask:

November 7th, 2000……(First Birthday Edition)
Lani John Tupu was the first actor of many on Farscape to be featured in a
special Birthday Edition of FNS. From
there on, different types of editions evolved besides Birthday editions such as
Quickie editions, Holiday Editions, and Special Editions.

December 4th, 2000……The Fellip Nectar Stand
Web Site debuted. Starting out as a
simple site with graphics for alcoholic beverages, munchies, as well as things
like an announcement page titled “Daily Uncharted Territorial”, the FNS
blossomed into a frelling franchise, I swear!
Hehehe.

December 18th, 2000……The Farscape FanFic Awards
were created and hosted by the FNS, with its own page.

April 2001……The Fellip Nectar Stand received a major make-over
with cucumbers and everything. Okay,
actually, a few things were cut from the site and others were added. The FNS now features the following pages for
your enjoyment: FNS Specials, Weekly
FNS Edition, What’s New, The FanFic Resource Center, Edition Archive, The Creator
of FNS, Comms Café, Storage Facility, Links, Guestbook, and Site Credits. There’s also a permanent link to the
Farscape FanFic Awards, an affiliate of FNS.

July 9th, 2001……The first FNS Challenge
was created, titled The Fellip Nectar Stand Word Play Challenge. It lasted for two weeks, concentrating on
originality and creativeness of Scapers:
Scaperisms, Limericks, Long-winded Jokes, Tongue Twisters, Metaphors,
Clever Dialogue, and Humorous Ficlets.
The ficlets were required to have a drink of the author’s own creation
as well, just for fun. Trophies were
awarded to two individuals for either Ultimate Word Play or Scaperisms. The top 5 winning entries are posted at the
Edition Archive under FNS
Word Play Challenge 2001, along with the FNS Victory Interactive Edition in
which the winning authors appear.

July 20th, 2001……The FNS Regulars group was
created. The FNS Regulars involves all
Scapers who are common readers of the editions. They receive editions weekly
via personal email and are more apt to appear in an edition of FNS. See the FNS Regulars at the bottom of this
page for more information. (Or behind

October 6, 2001……The very first FNS Regulars birthday edition…actually
was a twin edition due to the two FNS Regulars, PKLibrarian and BigNoseBob,
having the same birthday.

October 2001……Cross your fingers…the FanFic Resource Center debuts.

Thirsty? There’s always something thirst-quenching on tap at the
Stand. Just be careful not to drink
anything served by an alien you’re unsure of.

Fellip Nectar……Original beer in the UT found on the show…there’s this creature and
the nectar comes from…well, you all catch my drift. (FNS Edition 1.3)

Raslac [or Raslak]……A stronger alcoholic beverage often sighted in the hands of Sebaceans
or PeaceKeepers. Must have some
powerful kick! [Mainly spelled with a “c”
because that was before I discovered via closed captioning that the correct
spelling contains a “k”. Big deal.] (FNS Edition 1.3)

Kylian Fectar……An extremely strong liquor that when contained improperly, can lead
to disastrous, er nearly disastrous results.
Must be consumed with caution. (Originated
in fanfic “Just Another Day in the Life of John Crichton…or is it?” and debuted
in the FNS Birthday Edition for Gigi.)

Pilot’s Leviathan Concoction #4……A rather complicated mixed drink created by Pilot
that must be contained within thermos-like flasks. The drink’s strong enough for a Leviathan yet gentle enough for a
human. (FNS Edition 2.0)
·
Greenish Tinted Milk……This milk is simply green because the creature it
comes from has greenish tinted fur. (FNS
Edition 1)
·
The Uniflask of Tyla……An Uncharted Territories mixed drink often served
within a flask that has two mouth-pieces—for the intent of being consumed by
two mates at one time. (FNS
Celebration Bash)
·
Shrellup……Glow-in-the-dark alcoholic beverage found at raves in the UT. Shrellups arrive in assorted colors within
flasks shaped like three bubbles zapped together. (FNS Edition 3.6)
·
Tulva Draslac Nine……Another one of Pilot’s creations: red flaming liquid in small round
heat-resistant containers. It’s
stronger than moonshine, according to John.

Flisbisk Juice……BigNoseBob’s alcoholic beverage of choice. (FNS Edition 3.7)
·
Nature Girl’s Uncharted Enigma……JulietEcho/Nature Girl’s alcoholic

Gevalt……A rather tasty concoction created by unohoo. (FNS Victory Interactive Ed.)
·
Chewy Yellow Morsels, Fuzzy Orange Morsels, Chewy Green Morsel, and
Fuzzy Blue Chunk of UT Gunk……Common snacks found at the Stand.
No one really knows for sure what ingredients contain these morsels but
hey, they taste good! (FNS Edition

Big Mac……Two hamburger patties, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onion all on a sesame
seed bun. Your choice of

Budong Breakfast Buffet……Pretty self explanatory. An item found on the UT McDonalds Menu and I would advise you not
to order this if you visit! (FNS
Edition 1.2)

Fluffables……A light, puffy UT delicacy resembling chocolate that contains
sparkles of basic sugar content and glorious swirls of color. If you haven’t tried one, then you haven’t
really been to the Uncharted Territories! (FNS Easter Edition)

Hynerian Mojules……(Spelling questionable) Rygel’s
favorite snack. (Who knows)
·
The Aurora Barstool……A dangerous bar stool found at the Stand created by none other than
Scorpius, or NIBB, depending on who you ask! As a mind control device, this
bar stool is one to be avoided. Please
look before you take a seat! (FNS
Edition 1.3)

Feathery Blue Purse……An accessory to the costume portraying Aeryn Sun whose identity was
never really revealed. (FNS
Halloween Edition)

Bronzed DRD……A gift to Gigi from Pilot, Moya, and the DRDs.Pretty boring, huh? I mean, what do you do with a bronzed DRD? (FNS Birthday Edition for Gigi)

The Daily Uncharted Territorial……An electrical newspaper tablet often found at the
Stand. (FNS Edition 1)

Sculpture of Talyn carved from food cubes, et al carved items by D’Argo……It is a common occurrence
in FNS birthday editions, that D’Argo presents a carved object to the birthday
person. He likes to carve, what can I
say? It’s just that it gets a little

ole’ PeaceKeepers. They’re pretty good

The Scaper Countdown……The infamous scifi bboard countdown managed by
violettefrost. This edition discussed
the countdown, the obsession of Scapers, and how frelling hard it really is to
have to wait so long for the final four episodes every January! (FNS Edition 1)

Spoilers……As usual, bboards are plagued with spoilers during breaks in showings
in one country and ongoing showings in another. (FNS Edition 1.2)

UK season 2 final 4……An entire edition dedicated to the issue of the UK viewing the final
four episodes of season 2 an entire month before the US. (FNS Edition 1.7)
·
The Great Drought of 2000……Those four harrowing months of no Farscape
period. This edition dealt with the end
finally nearing and the anticipation of the new episodes. (FNS Edition 1.8)

Death……Following
the theme of season 3, not only this edition but several others deal with
deaths of the FS crew or simply the very subject in itself. (FNS

were so many speculations surrounding the demise of one, either, or neither of

Copyrights and Trademarks……One of the only editions that is recommended to be
viewed via the web site to get the true effect of symbolism. This edition discussed the recent drama
surrounding Jim Henson Productions and a couple other companies wishing to
protect themselves legally in seemingly ridiculous ways…aka, trademarking the
