I Call you little Princess, though no royal blood we share
No riches of the world we own,
yet nothing could compare
With all the love and happiness you brought
when you were born
While welcoming the Springtime
on that cold and frosty morn

A fallen April snow the night before
you came to be
surrendered to the warmth of that
first glance you gave to me.
I love you little Heidi so adorable
and small
What was life without you dear
I surely can't recall.

Only know it's so much richer
since the angels smiled down
To bless me with a cherub
dressed in pure white christening gown.

and skin so fair.
