It wasn't too long ago I couldn't stand London. It seemed every school trip was London (well most of them were, anyway!), and I just didn't like the place (although I liked the art galleries etc we visited). This was until December 1998 where my attitude towards the 'dump' changed.

I never imagined I'd drive in London, let alone like the place. But then the time came to take the plunge!

I've had many experiences of going to London to meet friends made through the internet (mainly!) since. I still wouldn't want to live there, but it's OK for a day trip or two I suppose... :)
