We
first made it to Coron in 1995, egged on by Bebot who was on friendly terms with a
Northern Palawan resident named Robie. The guy couldn't make it with us. Anyway, we rode
on a small slowww boat that took its sweetest time. On board, we throttled boredom by painting ourselves (James,
thank you for the lipstick), thereby providing a source of great amusement for other
passengers too. We commandeered Robie's boat Thumper to bring us to Calauit and this was how we were:
