The intense meaningfulness of the lyrics of Paul Vickers exposed! | |||||||||
My DOTR Intensity By Mc Alex part 1: Lisa Box, analysed in depth a tragic disko epic, this is obviously the heart-wrenching tale of a woman called Lisa who has a mullet and an addiction to cake which forces her into regimented shagging sessions with "Rob the baker" at quarter to 2 each day. Of course, having a mullet, she is also a westie and can't afford a decent bed in which to shag Rob once they are married, as all decent cake fetishists are. Her mullet is so overgrown that pigeons like to live inside t. It's been burnt in the cake oven on several occassions when the 1:45 sessions have gotten out of hand a bit. Meanwhile, somewhere else, Paul Vickers is stooped silently in a dark graveyard for some reason. part 2: Line-by-line on Windy Miller wishing i was more than me (The rare compulsion to put on weight, as discouraged by Oprah) wishing i was all i can be (as encouraged by Oprah, he wants to run with his soul) But this world beats me by far (A profound metaphor of the world as an S+M orgy) i am windy miller (I am Winnie Mandela) and you are the wind (and you are the oppressive Nationalist government) blow me to your heart (censored) blow me up before i land (i want a parachute because I love Jesus) sit on top of the sun (my ass is hot baby) burn your skin and cry (take roaccutane and go to Singapore in December) Your world without the pretty blue sky (You live in the South Island) I am Windy Miller (I am Willie Nelson) and you are the wind (and i am flatulent) Blow me to your heart (Play me on mainstream radio) Blow me up before I land (play me before i die in my hat) Misunderstood my double troubles (Nobody liked my double album) Drunk with life's cold wit (drunk) one head, two arms, two legs (i am human and i need to be loved just like everybody else does) part 3 of this drugginess: a translation of 'Float on a Raft' Take Drugs i take drugs with Hamiltonians I take drugs in the USSR she forgot to take drugs on her OE she's learning that hampster dance this is not America despite the cheese on my breakfast |

Rule the Roost: a conspiracy exposed Beyond the first line which only makes sense in context to its use later on in the song and is otherwise seen as an astute comment on various theories of evolution, 'Rule the Roost' is definitely a tribute to Daphne and Celeste. It is very obvious, with "she's a dancer on the Marie Celeste" simply being a very subtle way of implying the kinky relationships between D and C that may happen offstage. Despite the kinkiness of it all, Paul Vickers "would join in, but no-one's impressed" - in other words, it is well known that his greatest goal in life is still to join Daphne and Celeste except public pressure against this happening was too strong, especially in the NME, which slated the underground disko release, "Daphne, Celeste and Paul Make Bleepy Noises" in the same issue that had Fred Durst on the cover. Going into the chorussy bit, "Lady Midnight, famous raincoat, on a mountain bike" is further worship of Daphne in particular: her resemblance to a 'lady of the night', her fame, ironically stated in this metaphorical phrase as a raincoat to symbolise her resilience to elitist hipster disapproval of her musical creations, yet simultaneously to represent her plasticness. The mountain bike represents that daft furry hat. And "rule, rule rule the roost" is obviously what Mr Vickers thinks D and C do best. I think I have crapped on for long enough now. Yes. a quick translation of Candlefire: Backhouse's Lighter He perved at a poster of Kim Gordon it's backhouse's lighter But there is crap gel in his fringe and the groupie will not get stoned it's backhouse's lighter he perved at the EGGS school ball he started singing like Kim Gordon Joed out, joed out!! |
