ITALY I
Fascinating ROME was also one of the places we visited in our honeymoon.  The Coliseum is STILL splendid. Its construction was started by Emperor Vespasian in 72 AD in the grounds of Nero's Golden House, and completed by his son Titus. It is impressive how all that structure (all the columns that support the monument) is still in a good state of conservation. Maybe that is the reason why the Coliseum is one of the most visited places in whole Italy.

Piazza Navona, which is one of the most famous piazzas in Rome, is a nice place to enjoy a typical Italian cappuccino, sit on one of the cafes that surround the Piazza. Of course, we also had our capuccino there. It is a vast and beautiful square, lined with baroque palaces and the Bernini's masterpiece, the beautiful "Fontana dei Fiumi" (Fountain of the Rivers), in the centre.

In the heart of ancient Rome, we visited the Rome Imperial Forum. Just like most attractions in Rome, the Forum is still very well preserved and, of course, worth visiting it. Talk about the history of this place would take us an eternity, due to its rich cultural background ... so, I would recommend homepages in the net, if you are really interested in get to know well the Forum.
