| Tenchi Muyo! is a new anime which stars a young man named Tenchi who lives with his father, Nobuyuki. His grandfather (who turns out to be the legendary swordsman, Yosho) is keeper of the Masaki shrine. Tenchi's misadventures begin when he sneaks into a cave and frees a demon named Ryoko. Afterwards, he eventually meets Ayeka, Sasami, Mihoshi, and Washu.
