Sin, a malevolent creature, invades the land of Zanarkand 1000 yrs ago. Star Blitzer Tidus is poisoned by the irreversible toxin of the beast and is taken 1000 yrs into the future, to the land of Spira, unknowingly.
He meets a summoner and her guardians in an attempt to find a way back home and joins in their perilous efforts to defeat sin. They treat him well, although he still feels isolated.
Love, courage, and melancholy rush through his mind as they advance in their tracks to the final summoning. With every step they take, they become less sure if they will survive and bring peace back to Spira. |
