| Ray Buckland actually owned a Scarab for several years. It was originally built by the Univ. of N. Carolina as an electric powered vehicle but was later converted to gas. When he got it, it had a Kawasaki KZ1000 motorcycle rear. This was basically what he was interested in and so he took off the FiberFab body and sold it to a guy in Connecticut.(see Rays web site: www.oocities.org/manxpilot) |
