Burro Trailer (Not Scamp, Scamper, Casita)

Vehicle Description 1986 16' BURRO TRAILER Very good condition This jewel is a blank canvas. It was purchased from U-Haul by its previous owners, a family member, and used very very little. It is ready for you to make yours by adding your own style of curtains, motif, and decorations. You will not have to change everything someone else has done. Mechanically, this unit is SOLID. This unit has: A Suburban Furnace A Coleman Air Conditioner A two burner stove Range light and fan Four flourescent lights A photovoltaic battery charger A deep cycle marine battery A ten gallon freshwater holding tank 110/12v power supply PortaPotty New ShurFlo pump Ice box (not refrigerator) Sink and spout Bathroom with sink and shower spout Bunks in front 2 dinette setups 3 NEW tires Surge brakes Propane supply Front Window Cover New Carpet This trailer has a plate that says 2000# weight. When you put all your stuff in it, it weighs at 2500 at Flying J Truck Stop. This lightweight trailer can be pulled by smaller vehicles. We pulled it with a 3.0 liter V-6 Nissan Pathfinder. This trailer is well built, well insulated, and comes with everything in working order. It is not new, as the '86 designation indicates. I will not tell you that it is in pristine condition, but it is in very good condition. It does have some dings and wear marks, but NO major damage, rot, or defects. You will not have to undo a lot of things someone else has done. It is pretty much as it came from the factory. It DOES need some work, but not a lot. (See next paragraph.) The outside fiberglass is in good shape, but needs a wax job. The lights need someone who knows lights. They work, but need to be checked out. The carpet is new Berber, and we are going to clean it. It is doublefaced down, and it would be a very small job to change it if you don't like Berber or the color. The propane tank needs to be replaced with an OPD tank. The hydraulic jacks on the front window shade need to be replaced. The water supply system works, but needs to be hooked up to all faucets, and someone who knows this stuff knows how easy that would be. I think all the work mentioned above could be done by a DIYer for $150. The gallery picture shows this trailer in its element ........ out in the boondocks. It is light enough to take in to remote country. It would make an excellent traveler, hunting camp, or just a getaway trailer. We just bought a large motorhome, and are moving up. Still, I hate to sell this great trailer. :-( You must pick it up in Las Vegas. Bring some magnetic lights hooked up for your vehicle, or fix these here.
