Cars I've had -- Gone but Not Forgotten!

This '57 Pontiac Chieftan in black with a Caribe Coral spear originally belonged to a reverend in Pennsylvania.  I purchased the 41,000 mile original from a good friend and enjoyed it -- however, the lack of power steering gave meaning to the term 'armstrong'!  The car was sold in 1987 to a collector in Sweden.
The 1975 Grand Ville Brougham was Pontiac's last convertible.  This 40,000 mile original had almost every factory option and was a national first prize winner.
I remember as a five-year-old when our neighbors bought a new '55 Crown Victoria.  Although not a Ford man, I loved the looks of the car.  When I saw this mostly-original Buckskin and Ivory Crown Vic at Spring Carlisle '87 I had to have it.
Talk about rare -- how many of these '58 Mercury Park Lanes have you seen?  I can't remember having seen another one.  This black beauty was sitting in the car corral at Spring Carlisle '98, and just followed me home.  I bought it from the same gentleman who sold me my '69 Cadillac convertible -- which I still have.
Here we have almost 40 feet of Buicks!  One '69 Electra wasn't enough.  When a friend of mine mentioned that he was selling his '69 4 door hardtop, I figured it would be a great mate for my convertible, being that it was also Antique Gold.  Although the convertible looks longer in this photo, they were both exactly the same size -- big!
Another '55 Century 4 door Riviera Sedan turned up in my driveway one day in 1989.  Unlike the first one I had, this was fully equipped -- power windows, power seats, Dynaflow and power steering -- thank goodness!  It was a very sharp, mostly original car with only 64,000 miles.
