The Speed Dasher, also known as the Idaten, simply allows the user to run at supersonic speeds, much like what one of the Three Idiot's Wing device does. (The skinny guy with the wings attached to his back). Sometimes the user is able to move so fast that she seems to disappear into thin air then reappear again beside he ropponent. It also firms up the user's muscles, making her more resistant to punches. |
The Echo Shield, or Yamabiko, is able to reflect sound, which comes in very handy when she is battling together with Neon. It is good in that it is able to surprise the enemy, since he or she is most likely to think that all is safe when he/she avoids Neon's initial attack. Their opinion is quickly changed once she reflects the sound back to hit them, though! I used to think that it didn't really have that many good points, since she is only able to use it when Neon is around, but I've heard that the shield can actually be used to reflect anything as well as sound. I'm not too sure if it's true, though. |
And, like its name implies, the Yamabiko can also be used in place of a shield. Thus the Yamabiko is good for both defense and offense, but the latter only when Neon is around. |
Miki also has these claw-like things which she wears on her hands that are able to pierce and slash at the enemy. Shown in both the manga and anime, but neither were given much emphasis.
Lastly, shown in the manga only, Miki later on (volume 25, to be exact) uses throwing knives. She uses them much the same way in which Fuuko uses her gimlets, except that instead of being cylindrical, they are shaped like minature daggers.
