WARNING: The section below is a basic walkthrough. It will tell you a lot of what happens in the game. You wont find the story line or the item locations here. For the secrets, look in the secrets section.
After the opening scene, you will be in Vegeta Jrs castle. Leave Vegetas room. In Vegetas castle there are two money chests. Make sure you find them both and go to the shop inside the castle. Buy at least 1 senzu, some armor and a weapon before you leave.
Outside of Vegetas castle you must follow a path until you reach a info center. Learn about your controls and move on (before you leave, say no to one of the info guys and he will offer you to rest). Continue to follow the path until you reach Gate Town. You'll notice the passage is closed to get to the next town so you'll have to find some way to get by. In the back right corner of the town is a stair case. Go up the stairs and make a left. A guard will give you a gate pass if you beat him. Make sure your prepaired to fight because the guard is no pushover. After you beat him, leave the town through the door near the fruit stands.
Once on the other side, go left. Go to the training center to learn a new move (or not. Its optional). Once you hit the fork (where the senzu shop is) go down. Follow the path and cross through the cave. After the cave you'll find a small beach town called Koki Village. Once in the village, the villagers will tell you of a monster killing people. Go into one of the houses in the center of town and you will meet Ebuu. He wants you to help him kill the monster. Say yes, check out the town and leave.
Go back up through the cave (down will take you to the boat docks), pass the senzu shop and take the fork up. Follow the path, pass the mountains, and keep going until you reach the monsters cave. In the cave you will need to open two doors. Find the keys and fight the monster. Once he is dead, make sure you open the chest and take the golden ship model. After you win you'll be taken just outside the cave (the one near Koki Village). Go back to town and see the reaction of the saved villager. Be sure to gear up before you go on.
Leave Koki Village and go down to the boat docks. Give the man the golden ship model and he willlet you use his ship. Go left until you reach land. Once on land, go up and follow the road right and up until you reach Satan City. Go around town and check things out. There is a lot to see. Once done sight seeing and talking to some of the people, you'll find out some useful information about the tournament. A man tells you that the only way to get there is by airship, and a old man in a cave to the north owns one.
Leave Satan City and go west. Go past the Forst Maze entrance and follow the road until you hit a sign. The sign reads, Old Mans Cave. Follow the path to a cave. Once inside the cave talk to the old man. He will agree to let you use the ship, but only if you can find the black root for him in the Forest Maze.
Go back to the Forest Maze entrance. The forest is full of monsters so be prepaired. Click Here for a map of the maze. There are alot of goodies in the forest. Look on the map for locations. Once at the end of the maze, you'll fight the forest fairy. After you beat her, take the black root.
Go back to the old mans cave and give him the root. Leave out of the back and board the airship. Fly north until you hit an island. Land and enter the tournament.
SECRETS
TRAINING CENTERS: There are a total of three training centers located throughout the world. Click Here for a map of all three locations. In the training centers, you'll learn a different move if you pass all three levels. The fighters get alot more tough on each level. And each Training Center will be harder than the last.
HIDDEN CHARACTER: Its not too hard to find this guy. He makes a return from my last RPG. Hes in Satan City in the back right section of town. Talk to him and agree to join him on his mission. He'll tell you to go west to the Haunted Castle. Leave the town. Follow the road west, then south past the path to the old mans cave. Its the next path to the left. Go inside the castle. There will be a set of keys you'll need to find and a ton of goodies to collect, like a new move for one of your characters. Find the boss, defeat him and you be taken back outside the castle.
There are a few other things to get once you have the airship. There is a hidden cave near the monsters cave. Its in the center of some mountains south of the monster cave. You will find a nice suprise there. There is also a money chest near the info center. You can see the locations here.
