(We prefer # 2) All three of these spinners work well for Perch, Pickerel and Bass in the clear and stained lakes we fish in NE PA. In the cedar lakes and rivers of New Jersey Pickerel nail the bright gold and the Shad. Silver (not shown) works well in NJ as well. |
Vibrax Shad |
If we could only add 1 of these spinners to our tackle box, it would be the Vibrax Shad. It consistently produces for us. |
I caught my Trout limit in 1/2 hour with this spinner in a Pocono area lake. It works well in deeper water in low light situations |
When we fished the Lake Canadensis area there was a large newt population. We think this spinner must have looked like a newt to the local Bass, Perch and Pickerel. It produced fish all weekend long in early June. |
BLUE FOX VIBRAX SIZE #1 AND #2 |
PANTHER MARTIN SIZE 1/8 AND 1/4 OZ |
THOMAS DOUBLE SPIN LURE |
Pickerel and Perch hit well on these 2 colors in shallow clear and stained water. We retrieve them fast and cast along the shore and around structure |
The Sizmic Toad is a great lure! It can be Buzzed, Jerked, floated or as a jig trailer. When the Largemouth move into the shallow water at dusk, we cast the toad as close to the bank as we can and let it rest for a few seconds. Then swim it back to the boat. |
4.25" Green Pumpkin/pearl |
SIZMIC TOAD |
The 1/6 oz Gold/Red Double Spin works well for us on early morning Bass. It works all day on Perch, Sunnies and Pickerel. We cast it around stumps, pads and grass. Then work it with a medium retrieve. |
We've added several of our favorite lures to this page. They're available at most tackle shops. Or try to find them online by clicking on the Banners below to be re-directed to Banners web sites. Have a lure you want to add to this page? Email us. We'll try to add it. |
