Needs no introduction, It's by far the most used, fishing Jetty locally. It's easily accessable by public & private transports. It stretches far out[about 300m] to the sea. It had a long history of big fishes been caught over here. It's wide & long enuff to accomodate everybody..The list goes on.......
"Fishing with NETS from this Jetty is prohibited" Do your part so tht everybody will have their fair share...
Looking back from the T-end of the jetty. This is where most of them cast out from, waiting for their BIG catch
Tht's the left-T end of the jetty....Just trying for some bait-fishes, tambams[sardines]
On weekends, it's packed with anglers, cyclist, joggers, onlookers & so on.....plus lots of regulars who never seem to go home....
Looking back from the T's with a wide angle during dusk...It's the best time as it's much cooler than brazing the scotching afternoon sun.. Some were already preparing to camp here overnite with their tents & so on.
A whopping Barramundi[KBL] was caught. It's considered as quite common here as many bigger fishes were landed here in the past. Surprisingly, it's the 3rd KBL (5.9, 6.8, 4.5 kg) landed within 7 days from Sept 2002....or maybe more......
