Yes but seldom seen. This fish was caught during my offshore trip, in Horsburgh waters on 28/6/03.
Coastal waters, sandy bottoms near reefs. Feeds on fishes & crustaceans.
Large dark spots on 3rd dorsal to 6 or 7th fins. Several dark blotches on upper back, sometimes indistinct[similar to the pic, only one was visible]
