Well, what do you know. I've finally gotten around to doing this page. This is gonna have some information about me, as well as serve as a bit of a miscellaneous page. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the scanner to work, so for now you'll have to put up with only text. But hey, that's what your imagination is for, right?

Well, as evidenced, my favorite TV show is Captain Planet. Some other shows I like are Sailor Moon, ReBoot, Dragonball Z, The Simpsons, Power Rangers, Rugrats, etc., etc. Pretty much cartoons and kid shows. Some of my favorite movies include
Moulin Rouge, Gone With the Wind, all the Star Wars movies (The Phantom Menace in particular), and a bunch of romantic comedies. And then there's stuff like Gettysburg and Andersonville, 13 Days, and other action films. So it kind of varies. The same goes for my favorite music. I tend to like soft rock, I think, but there are even some rap songs I like. So I suppose all these things depend on stuff like plot, lyrics, beat, or whatever. But enough about that.

Jumping to a fairly random subject, I have 2 cats, one dog, and a few fish in the little, man-made pond out back. My favorite animal is the cat, and our older cat, Tasha, is a seal-point, mitted, Ragdoll, and is quite a witch at times. Her mood swings are quite funny, too, except when she tries to gnaw your hand off. That's not too cool. When we first got her, she used to climb up to the top of my mom and dad's bedroom door and jump down on my dog, a Yorky-Poo (half Yorkshire Terrier, half Poodle), and so Smokey is consequently fairly neurotic now.

Our other cat, Spooky, was found one Saturday by an interesting twist of fate. This was three falls ago when I was still in my field hockey season. Oddly enough, one game was delayed due to weather, twice. So it was held on that Saturday. Plus, my brother was getting his moped on that day (driving it at the quite illegal age of 12), and there was Spooky across the street, under Scary Lady's car (don't ask about that one, just don't). We didn't get him immediately; it was only after Mom returned home and he meowed at her that John (my brother) convinced her to at least let him stay in the backyard for the moment. That was the last strong meow he ever gave, because he's a Russian Blue, and they have quiet, high meows by nature. But forget about being graceful, he's super-clumsy. But anywho, we had to go away that weekend to visit my grandmother in Pennsylvania, and when we returned, there was Spooky. So we brought him in, and it's a good thing we did because it rained that night. And we've kept him since them. It seems that I'm his favorite person, and everyone else is "not-Diana." He just can't get enough of me, and even will open doors to get to me if I don't open them for him.

As for the dog, he's stupid. I don't really like him. No one in our family likes him. I know, that's cold, but he's a pain in the butt, and is constantly licking himself when I'm trying to go to bed as he lies on my floor. So I wind up shooing him out all the time. `Nuff said.
