Some folks look at page awards as a genuine expression to the recipient for a job well done.
Others think awards for pages are a waste because of the large number showing up. Anyone that
wants to give one out just has to create one. There are many catagories. The one I hope we
never see is the
"
Slicker Than Snot On A Door Knob Award ".
I wouldn't even want to see the logo for something like that. I don't care how cool a page
is, that's one award I wouldn't want.
Any day now I expect to see one for NOT updating a page. I can just picture
the e-mail one would get.
Your page has not been updated for 2 Years. You are now the proud
owner of the
"
Glowing Green Fungus In The Back Of The Fridge That Seems To
Have Taken On A Life Of It's Own Award".
This in turn, would create the
"
Arm & Hammer Freshness Award "
for those who update pages more than once a day.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I happen to like the fact that anyone can give an award for
a page regardless of content, color, creed, national origin, political correctness or poor spelling
and grammar.
