Questions Answers and Responses to Advice
On my YouTube channel, there are a lot of people making comments that have already been made and answered. I deleted these comments because I don't want the channel to fill up with the same thing over and over again.I decided to create this page to lists the questions that people have, as well as the comments/advice people have given me, and respond to these questions and advice here on this page.
I understand if some visitors do not want to read through the website to get the full picture, but on the other hand, I wish some people would at the very least acknowledge to themselves before giving advice, that they have not looked at this website and therefore are most likely saying something that's either already been said or is contrary to what I have stated here on this website.
The comment section on YouTube is only going to get longer, and this website is only going to get bigger, so I think this page is necessary. Once I've logged all the advice and questions here, I can simply say this has been answered, please see the Questions and Advice page.
Advice GivenAdvice
Get a JOB you LAZY *beep*
Response
When I first created this website (October 27, 2007), I had just lots my job. I made it clear that I
was looking for work. This is the most common piece of advice I get. I now have a job, I start on
Monday (November 5th, 2007). However, I still wont see any pay until the 15th of November and even then
it will only be about $550 to $600 (I am not sure how much I'll get after text yet). That's not going
to help me pay the (by the 15h of November) almost 8 weeks I am behind in rent. So I am leaving this
website up.
Advice
Go to a church.
Response
I need $1560 to pay my rent, not soup and second hand shoes. If I do not pay my rent, I might very well
be lining up for soup. Facing the choice of visiting a church or a job agency, I have decided on the
job agency. To be totally honest, visiting a church didn't even enter my mind. What I need is money.
They only way I can do that is to work.

Questions ReceivedQuestion
Why don't you go on welfare?
Response
I could go on welfare, yes. However, welfare is not going to help me out. What I need is money, and the
only way I can get money is to get a job. So when I lost my job, the first thing that came to my mind
is "I need a new job -- FAST", not: "I need to go on welfare". To apply for welfare takes weeks (where
I am from), and even when you get the benefits, it's chicken feed. If I took that course of action,
there's no way known I'd get the money to fix my situation. So I just crossed out the option all
together and went for the money, ie: work.
Question
Now I'm not saying that you aren't in need, but there are many people out there that are deserving of
money in far worse conditions just take a look at 9/11 or the katrina victims, some of them are the
most deserving of money yet wont receive it so i just want to know why you and not one of those
families?
Response
To be perfectly honest, I am not far behind those Katrina victims. If you read my web page, you'll see
that I am [now] 6 weeks behind in rent. If I get evicted, I'll lose everything I own. I have nowhere to
put anything. I have no money. I have an empty tank of fuel. All I have going for me is a job WHICH I
DID FIND. But it might be all too little too late. If I get an eviction notice OR if my car finally
kicks the bucket, I AM on the street and I wont be able to get to work. It will be game over.
Question
Why aren't you looking for work instead of sitting on the internet?
Response
As stated on the original single page version of this website, I was
desperately looking for work. I have since found work, so now I don't have to look for work anymore.
However, even when I was looking for work, I did that during the day and I attended the interviews and
the agency and workplace inductions during the day. This website was not my "first" course of action --
it was merely an extra course of action. My main priority was to find work. However, even if I found
work (which I now have), it doesn't mean I am in the clear. I am still flat broke. I am still 6 weeks
behind in rent [03 Nov 2007], and I am still in need of assistance. At the time I am writing this
response right now, it is a Saturday, and I am pretty sure my Internet wont be disconnected on a
weekend, so I am using my weekend to update and promote this website. I have to to got work Monday
morning at 7:00am.

You have an Internet connection, so you're not "flat out of luck". You're not broke!
Response
A week before November 27th I was employed as a web developer. I had a contract for a company that I'd
been working with for two years. Therefore, I have an Internet connection. However, I do have a due for
disconnection notice and if I do not pay the bill, it will be cut off. You can see more information
about how my employment ended by reading the "web development" section on the services page.
Comment
You are asking for money from kids.
Response
A "kid" can't get a PayPal account, because for a PayPal account you need a credit card. I only accept
money via PayPal, so it's pretty much impossible for me to accept money from kids. Also, if I found out
that anyone who sent money to me was a kid, I'd most certainly return it. I could not sleep at night
knowing that I've taken money from a kid. To be perfectly frank, this statement is just absurd. If
anything, I don't mind if the young ones favorite my video and rate my video 5 stars -- but that's
hardly taking money from kids.
Comment
I figured that the donation button on his [FlatOutOfLuck's] "website" would save my password and
then have access to my account/money. It's a shame and yet very annoying how many scams there are,
anyways thanks for the heads up I thought I was just being paranoid.
Response
This is not possible. It's a PayPal URL. Feel free to view the HTML source.
Comment
I am coming to get you!
Response
Ok -- the key is under the mat. Wipe your feet before you come in. However, I must warn you that I have
had a pretty *BEEP'N* *BEEP* last few months and I can't be held responsible for what might happen to
you if I wake up to find you standing over my bed (or my box, depending on where I am living at the
time).

Questions Answered As this website has grown from the single page [ see the original ] to an actual website that has a blog, questbook, navigation menu, etc -- I
find that more and more people who see my YouTube channel
are making the same comments over and over. If you have a question or feel that you can offer me some advice,
please see the page where I have logged all advice given as well as the responses to all questions asked. I
hope that this helps my YouTube channel from becoming the same comments and responses over and over again:

The Story So far: The best way to get the full story on why I created this website and the YouTube Channel would probably be to start from page one of the comments. I have deleted hundreds of nasty comments, and also dozens of repeat comments, as well as repeat questions. So the comments section on my channel is moderated and kept clean: Comments. You can also read the about page. The services page also offers an explanation into how I got to be in the predicament I am in (under web development).
