On the 20th October 2000, I set off for what was to become a truly awesome experience; For me, a dream of 10 years was about to be realised as we flew out to Uganda to track the infamous Gorillas in the Bwindi National Park. It was a 10-day, full-on cacophony of new experiences and adventures, whilst constantly reminding us that we were holidaying in an area of the world where many of the locals do not even have the luxury of a water-supply into their village, let alone into their house!
