The Flint Scottish Pipe Band was founded in 1916 by a group of Scottish immigrants in Genesee County, Michigan, who desired to have a wee bit of the auld country in their new home.
The Flint Scottish Pipe Band is the oldest pipe band in continuous existence in the state of Michigan. We have gone by many names in our history, such as: <insert names here>
