Today, on a Facebook discussion thread, someone named Pam actually stated that "Shari'a law is in TX now!!!"

I replied:

"Shari'a law in Texas? I don’t see it. Are girls forbidden to attend school after grade 3? Tell that to all the coeds at University of Texas, Rice, Texas A&M, etc. If you, Pam, are in TX, why are you even allowed access to a computer? What is Kay Bailey Hutchinson doing as a senator and Sheila Jackson Lee doing in congress? Do the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders all wear burqas? Have suicide bombers driven into every Hooters in the state and blown them up?"

Outrageous paranoid conspiracy theories anyone?
