Having grown up in the dog world with a family who bred and showed Cairn Terriers, I subsequently switched to Poodles, then Collies (Rough) and finally found my true love - Golden Retrievers.

All breeders think that the breed they have is the best but when you have Goldens, then you KNOW they are the best; the most loveable, truest, kindest, gentlest, most loyal and understanding friend you will ever have.

Goldens love you unconditionally - they don't care whether you are pretty or not, they don't care whether you are old or young, they don't care whether you are fat or thin, they don't care whether you are rich or poor. If you come home late they don't get grouchy - they let their tail wag their whole body with delight that you
are home. They grin their goofy grin and just love you.

So I founded my kennels with two beautiful Goldens - Freya and Darcy - hence the name Freydar. Today we all live in a house with a large backyard and a nearby lead free park with room to play that the dogs enjoy. The family has grown of course, Freya now retired,  Darcy and  Shine.

So what do you get with a Freydar puppy? Well, with a strong belief in the necessity for integrity in breeding dogs and a refusal to compromise on quality, I have all my breeding stock hip and eye scored. You get copies of your puppy's parents' hip and eye certificates. You also get a puppy pedigree that includes some of Australia's and England's top champions.

Even more importantly you gain a lifestyle. Your puppy will come to you with social skills. He/she has been home reared, been handled by my young grandchildren, mixed with my other dogs, followed a healthy diet, been vet checked, vaccinated and registered with the VCA. You will, of course be furnished with your personal book containing full information on your puppy's needs.  Naturally I am available if other questions arise as your Golden baby grows up.

They are beautiful, my Goldens, do come and see us sometime. We  have puppies available as breeding seasons allow.
