Handles group services including group email, files, links, database and calendar. The email function can be setup to automatically send you any email posted to the group, and it includes support for "threads", i.e. all replies to an email topic are collected and grouped under that email topic - useful for group discussion of issues and keeping track of all the points raised.    The calendar function will automatically email members of scheduled events, like meeting reminder/reschedule notices. To access menu functions, Yahoo will ask  you to join the group. Information on how to join, get a Yahoo ID if you need one, etc is contained in a Help file linked to from the Newsgroup splash page "Description" section, where it reads "To access menu functions you need to join the group, using a Yahoo ID (how to get Yahoo ID and function help)".
