Projects
Horgan recently received a package from his Village describing their situation with regards to Water, Power, Hospital and School needs. The items have been summarized as a set of 6 lists covering "Vehicles", "Supplies and Equipment", "Workshop and Construction", "Water Supply and Sanitation", "Power Generating" and "Shipment" categories, and mapped to Appropriate Technology ("AT") Resources where fitting.  A set of 6 Task Force Teams has been designed to distribute the workload of material procurement. An Oakland Tribune Newspaper story, "Group gives ambulances to Ghana", describes a highly similar effort which can be use as a model for this Project.
FOAO's current projects began with Horgan's "Hospital Wheelchairs" and "School Supplies" for his village in Nigeria, and Judah's "Water Pump" for an African Outlet customer's village in Mali. Problem research and solution is aided by the use of FOAO's Appropriate Technology ("AT") Resource Directories.
