| Before the sun appears in the morning sky I see in the horizon every color of my life Ready for the burning brightness of her lamp Freshly painted with the canvas still damp I'm dancing barefooted inside this picture and I'm grabbing hold to every blessing that I can Spinning and reaching out of the painting Only the strength of God keeps me from fainting There is a river flowing, and tall rustling trees A vision so real with soft traces as the gentle breeze With a slight texture, and heavenly colors to behold Set inside of a frame decorated with leaves of gold And the grass is wet with the morning's dew While the sun comes plainly into my view Feeling the warmth as it begins to radiate A day with You in my heart, I anticipate Crossing in one day completely to the other side The sun illuminates a perfect sky far and wide Melting slowly away with streaks orange and red Disappearing from view, setting quietly to bed Darkened now is this transforming canvas of God Just in time for me to catch a quick nod Soon, I am awakened, noticing the moon in my face And I dance amongst the stars sprinkled throughout space Back into God's brilliantly made featured piece Stretched to remove every wrinkle and crease Returning the colors of my life before my very eyes God begins a new masterpiece with every sunrise BY KELLY |
