"MY LIFE'S BEST PLAN" |
Patiently You listen to my questioning, knowing well I cannot understand the shaping that's imperative for You to do to mold me in Your tender potter's hands. You know my every wondering thought and comprehend. You sympathize with my unenlightened fears, for in the garden, You, Yourself did agonize and cry out to Your Father with bitter tears. You set in motion all the things that have to be for me to become what You see in me, and place before me everything that I will need to quench my thirst, my hungering to feed. You gently whisper, "My dear child, trust in me, even when my hand you cannot see, for I will see you through this to the very end, for I am your Creator and your Friend." And though sometimes the process burns my heart like fire, I can bear the heat, I trust Your hand. And I can trust You with this vessel You have made simply because You know my life's best plan.
