Greetings and Felicitations, Children of Technology!

Short biography:

The split of Fallout in 1982 led to
Peter and Lou continuing their quest.  They formed Carniore the next year with a guitarist named Keith Alexander.  They played mostly the New York area when, in 1985, they released their first album, the self-titled, "Carnivore" on a new label: RoadRacer (now know as RoadRunner).  They continued on as a violent and aggressive metal-punk band with Black Sabbath influences, singing mostly about the post-WWWIII survivor attitude...even going to the point of wearing futuristic, barbarianic, instrument wielding warrior costumes...After all, they were Carnivores!  Lou Beato was the first to come up with this idea before a show.  They also brought buckets of "reindeer guts" (actually freshly slaughtered cow innards) on stage with them and threw them on the crowd.  Their popularity grew in the N.Y. area mostly, but success also reached across the globe.  People today still say, "you either loved 'em or hated 'em."  Keith Alexander leaves the band at this time...Peter and Lou weren't done yet, however...so they held many auditions to replace the guitarist.  They were looking for someone with the 'Carnivore' image...a big, bad-ass guitar player.  How did they end up with Marc Piovanetti, you ask?  Listen to him play the guitar!  He kicks ass!  But because of his image, they decide to drop their costumes. Then, in 1987, they release their second album, "Retaliation".   Peter's subjects that he chose to write about were less on the post-nuclear war generation, and more on a political stand...but critics of the lyrics were not disappointed with Peter's new batch of sarcastic patrionism.  Peter has stated many times that their lyrics were just misunderstood. That would explain the feces he recieved in the mail more than once.  They were impressing and offending people when, hesitantly, they split up because of RoadRacer's inability to support their tour efforts, and to pursue personal goals.  Although it was nearly two years later, Peter couldn't walk away from music, so he met back up with Josh Silver, their friend Sal Abruscato, and asked John Campos (from Fallout and Original Sin) to be their guitarist for their new band.  He respectfully declined.  Sal was formerly in a band with Kenny Hickey...so they ask him to join because they know his guitar skills had improved over the years (Lou remembers Kenny of young with his encouraging Kenny, "Keep it up, it may lead to something someday"...little did anyone know he would eventually become the greatest guitar player for the greatest band ever).  He accepts because of Peter's reputation...not to mention they had known eachother for years since they lived in the same neighborhood.  Subzero is formed, who later changed their name to Repulsion, who later changed their name to Type O Negative...
