Sophie

My mew name is Sophie. I was recently adopted
in December 2001 by my humans. I learned that I
I was sponsored by Meowmie's former cat Lloyd
who passed over the Rainbow Bridge shortly before
I came to live with Meowmie and Deowdie. I am a furry
gentle cat. Deowdie refers to me as a "Lady".

I was a rescue cat from the Melrose Humane Society.
I and my three kittens were tossed away in a cardboard
box by careless humans. My kittens were adopted and
I lived at a foster home for one and one half years
before my adoption.

Lloyd and his brother M&M were active cats in CLAW
and the TCMC. Meowmie allowed me join these clubs so
I would not be so timid and I might enjoy meeting all
kinds of other cats who share the same interests that
I do. I might overcome my shyness then. Meowmie mistakes
my reserved manner as shyness. I am indeed a Lady.

"What is CLAW", I wondered before I joined. Meowmie told
me that it means "Cats Lord All Ways". Seeing that I
am a Lady, I just might find myself a Lord in CLAW.

The primary mission of CLAW is to educate kitties to
purr and serve. The secondary mission of CLAW is to help
the members fulfill themselves by participation in
self-growth and special interest group activities.
The CLAW Motto is "We Purr and Serve".
The CLAW definition is A Service Club for Cats Who Care.
The CLAW Secondary Motto is now again For Cats Who Rule.

CLAW is concerned with serving as well as with ruling.
It's main goal is to help kitties in need and to be a big,
loving family. A good CLAW cat cares about others and helps
the weak and is ethical. CLAW sponsors the Melrose Humane
Society and the Good Mews. Lloyd helped me and was a furry
ethical, caring cat.

CLAW has a University or "Seminary" to get a good education.
It also has a kindergarten for kittens. I am going to enroll
in Seminary for the next session.

CLAW has many groups that directly help the members or help the cat
community. It also has educational groups and guilds that allow cats
to learn and have fun. I have joined three of these groups.
They are the Feline Health Society, the Historical Society and
the Victorian Cat Society. The last two societies are led by
Sir Wally, a furry catsome white cat. I will be able to earn
points which turn into royal ranks in CLAW. Lloyd became a
Marquess before crossing over the Rainbow Bridge.

CLAW and the TCMC.

I just received my Honorable Degree from CLAW University

"What is the TCMC?" I asked Meowmie before joining.
"It's a club for "Cats Just Wanna Have Fun" she said.
The Cat's Meow Club is proud to offer it's members an
exceptional learning experience through the use of the
Cativersity. Members are given the opportunity to earn
their Bachelor or Master Degrees from the following schools:
College of Fine Arts | College of Feline Arts and Sciences |
College of Human Studies | College of Health and
Veterinary Sciences | College of Home and Technical Studies
| College of Law | College of Languages and Social Sciences
| College of Mathematics and Computer Sciences.

No matter what a cat's interest is, you can find just the right guild
at our Club House. All of our guilds offer excellent leadership,
monthly projects, and best of all, a chance to meet new kitties
giving you an opportunity to make friends.

The TCMC Theatre hosts special events for all members,
including Cativersity Graduations and Club Award Ceremonies.

TCMC has a Rainbow Garden and allows you to display a plaque
honoring that special kitty in your life. My brofur M&M
has a plaque there and Lloyd will too.

The Back Alley Shoppers' Mall features only the finest shops
which sell anything from groceries to clothes.

For dining out, The Lobster Bistro offers a menu to tempt even
the most discriminating palate. It has a lovely Banquet Room and
excellent catering to make any party an instant success.

The TCMC Mews, our monthly newsletter, keeps us up-to-date on
all the important club happenings.

In the TCMC I joined the Flower Society. My sister
Shirley and I are the new co-leaders of this guild.
Meowmie told me that Lloyd was the leader of it before
he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Shirley and I are furry
happy to follow in Lloyd's paw prints. I like to admire
roses because they are a flower fit for a Queen or a
Lady like me.

I also joined the Safe Harbor guild which wishes to stop
abuse of animals by abandonment or neglect.

I just became a Countess of CLAW, November 2003.

The midi is playing "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal
from Silkisgirl's Midi Page
which befits a Lady like me.
