I, Farshid Sarrafzadeh Rezaei, am currently an associate professor in surgery at the college of veterinary medicine, Urmia University, Iran. I earned my DVM degree in 1986 from Tehran University and completed a residency in surgery toward a PhD degree at Shiraz University, Iran. I received the Iranian board certification in surgery from the Iranian Ministry of Sciences, Researches and Technology in 1993. I have emphsized research on small animal anesthesiology and tendon surgeries. I was promoted to associate professor in April 2001. I got married in 1987 and have two cute sons! My wife is a physician who completed a residency in gynecology. She received board certification from the Iranian Ministry of Healths, Treatment and Medical Training in 1995. She currently has a private practice in Urmia. I spent six month sabbatical leave with faculty at Edinburgh University from June 10, 2001 till December 10, 2001. |
