Thank you for visiting FUNTIME DAYCARE! Making Learning Fun! My name is Lisa. I have been providing care in my home for the South Hill, VA area since 1994. I am registered and follow the USDA Food Program. Funtime offers a Christian, loving, fun, safe, learning environment for a small group of children. At present I care for infants through afterschool 1st and 2nd shift. Preparing the children for kindergarten by providing : *healthy meals *one on one attention *outdoor activities *preschool program Keeping schoolagers busy by: *Offering lots of activities in the afternoons *Touching base throughout the summer on their level of learning. My wonderful husband Carl is my soul mate in life and my back-up for daycare! He suffers from ALPHA1, and is home helping out when needed. We have three children Jeremiah(12), Rachel(9), and RT(Roger Thomas-7). They are all active in helping with the children. Having been blessed with a nice home and land to romp; we have a large playground area far from any traffic the children are free to run and play keeping us on our toes.,p> I have always enjoyed children and feel that this is what God wants me to be doing! Staying at home has given me precious time with my family and the opportunity to see so many head off to school anxious and prepared.
