Tamahome is the oldest son who works hard to support his family in his father's place, due to his sickness. He cares about others and will sacrifice himself if necessary to protect the ones he loves.

Why Flame loves Tamahome- Tamahome is one of my favorite FY guys and I don't know why so many FY fans dislike him or make fun of him. Sure, he's the "hero" of the story, and his devotion for Miaka might get on your nerves at times (not me), but Tamahome is the "perfect" man on my opinion. He works hard to earn money and take care of his family, and future wife ^_~ He took care of his family on his father's place. He likes kids. He's very loyal, and is willing to give his life for his love ones. A great son, boyfriend, and friend! Love those sexy eyes and hair! And didn't he look even sexier as "evil Tamahome" on black clothing?! Yum!!!
