the FUSPEY lecture was delivered between  September 2002  and april 2003 in Dublin, Oxford, Denmark, Bosnia The basis of the lecture consisted of presenting recent changes in technology and worldview that has resulted in the paradigm shift we are now going through in world history; The next renaissance or even more than that, another major REVOLUTION in perception and action. We are now living in the NETWORK AGE. We don’t have the answers yet, but we have started to ask the right questions

EASA (euroepean architectural students assembly)  is the 22 year old community, whose SPIRITED voice is that of  the European students of architecture. about 500 of them meet up at least once a year, always somewhere different, to do workshops with different themes. last year they took over a derelict army barracks on the  amazing Croatian island of Vis. This summer they are exploring SUSTAINABILITY

ECO CITY BANJA LUKA, in Bosnia, is an ongoing process, which started in April 2003. A 2 weeklong workshop explored 5 areas of possible development and the results were housed in the state art gallery for the next 2 weeks. NETWORKS are growing, KIC is the main node for communication

"Ecotopia" is the biggest international camp in Europe, involved in environmental and social issues, that has been held for over 13 years moving from country to country each year and is organized by a local grassroots environmental organization that is part of the EYFA network. Ecotopia alternates between Eastern and Western Europe The offical title for the Ecotopia this year is "YOUNG PEOPLE AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES ON HUMAN RIGHTS ". and it will be held in Ukraine in august 2003

the Oxford Brookes Peace Network formed out of the Brookes branch of the UK student stop the war coalition before the war in iraq. it raised  awareness amongst both staff and students about the illegal and immoral aspects to the war in iraq. when war did breakout this NETWORK did succeed in mobilizing many students out for a rally, followed by a teach-in and finally taking over half of headington road for a protest march from gypsey lane campus into oxford town centre

critical mass, cycling campaign, is an open gathering of cyclists who having assembled, begin a slow, good natured excursion around their city, gradually if temporarily, reclaiming it from the usual sea of petrol-guzzling, fume-belching traffic.. 'Critical Mass' achieves its critical mass when the numbers participating are large enough to result in the temporary reclaiming of our streets.
