The school offers an alternative to conservatory and community music school environments. Students receive highly individualized lessons drawing on a vast resource of violin teaching

Performing and workshops are an integral part of the learning process. Students are offered opportunities to perform as part of the curriculum. Playing in the workshops, students learn from one another and from the experience of playing for a knowledgeable yet sympathetic audience. The frequent exposure to public performing is key to building a communicative way of playing as well as stage presence.

Intelligent practice will lead to growth and change in a matter of days, and good habits are brought to the subconscious automatic level quickly. Students are encouraged to take two lessons per week to keep the pace of learning fast and motivation at a high level. Written progress reports are issued every semester, and evaluation auditions.

WELCOME TO VIO-LINE

About us

This is offical website of vio-line a school of violin

Choosing the best repertoire and technical studies for the student's level is essential for the development of a violinist.

Beginners have the advantage of learning left hand technique beginning in the third position with a rounded fourth finger. From that starting point, the development of vibrato and velocity falls naturally into place.

Intermediate students get a full menu of technical studies, to develop articulation, shifting, vibrato, extensions, double stops, bow strokes, string crossings, etc., and how to combine the many skills into an integrated whole.
