A view of the sites near the fishing lake. They are set up so that each water and electrical source will supply up to four camping units. All sites are back-ins but are easy to get into.
Another view looking to the left of the transient campsite area. This resort has a mix of camper owned/seasonal sites as well as sites set aside for the weekly and overnight visitors.
A view of the fishing lake. The middle is quite deep but the shoreline is shallow and tapers off gently.
Another view of the fishing lake. I don't quite understand the rule they have about only allowing fishing from dawn to dusk . I'll let you know about the rule next time I visit and ask for the reason behind it.
This is the dump station which also has restroom facilities for personal cleanup after the chore is complete. There are no sites with sewer connections. Only water and 30 amp electric are at campsites.
There is a very nice covered picnic shelter that is above ground on a wooden deck in the background. This is a resort type of campground and a vollyball court is in the foreground.
Lake O Pines has a nice looking lake that is used only for swimming. There are lots of water toys and platform mounted diving boards around to keep the kids busy all afternoon.
Lake O Pines only has one bath house and it is located right across the street from the small check-in trailer. If you were wanting to use these facilities and were camped by the fishing lake and had to "go" real bad, I don't think you could make it "in time" , if you know what I mean. It's quite a walk.
