Funeral Services for Marvin Vant Hoff to Be Friday Afternoon
Marvin Vant Hoff, 20, son of Albert Vant Hoff, died Tuesday night in the Forest Lawn sanitarium at Jefferson after an illness of some months. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Vant Hoff home on Route 2, seven miles west of this city, and at 2 o'clock from the First Reformed church in Waupun, the Rev. Anthony Karreman officiating.
Marvin Garret  Vant Hoff was born in the town of Trenton May 20, 1911, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vant Hoff. His mother, who was formerly Della Vande Berg, died when he was two years old.
Surviving the youth are his father, his step-mother, two brothers, Wienert Vant Hoff in Denver, and Charles at home, and two step-brothers and step-sister, Alvin, Clayton, and Dorothy, all at home.
Pallbearers at the services Friday will be members of Wesly Giebink's Sunday school class of the Reformed church, to which Marvin Vant Hoff belonged. The bearers are: Cornelius Beek, Wilbert and Clarence Vande Berg, Ed Vande Zande, and Arnold Van Loo.
