Jeanette Landaal September 29, 1914 in Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  She was born April 22, 1894 in Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died February 04, 1973 in Hillside Hospital, Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Former Chairman of Trenton Dies; Plan Rites Friday
Aldert Van Buren, who served as a town officer of the town of Trenton for 14 years, died Tuesday evening following a brief illness. Services will be held at the First Reformed church Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Rosenberg in charge.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Van Buren, he was born in the town of Alto Oct. 28, 1891. He married Jeanette Landaal Sept. 29, 1914. The couple farmed in Alto before moving to the town of Trenton where he farmed for the past 33 ears. He served as town chariman and supervisor for 14 years before resigning last year.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Alvin at home, Mrs. Donald Daane, Brandon; Mrs. Melvin Thieleke, Randolph. Also surviving are four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Corneluis Bronkhorst, James Van Buren, Arthur Van Buren, all of Waupun and Mrs. Bernie Vande Berg, Brandon.
His parents, one child, and seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
The body will be in state in the Beyers Funeral home afternoon Thursday until the church services Friday. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.

Mrs. Jeanette Van Buren, 78, Route 1, Fox Lake, died Sunday evening at Hillside hospital, Beaver Dam.
She was born April 22, 1894, in the Town of Alto, a daughter of Cornelis and Della Schouten Landaal. She was married to Albert Van Buren at Alto Sept. 29, 1914.They farmed in the Fox Lake area until Mr. Van Buren's death in 1960. Mrs. Van Buren was a member of FirstReformed Church, Waupun.
Survivors include a son, Alvin, Fox Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Daane, Waupun; and Mrs. Melvin Thieleke, Randolph; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Delmar, Bert and Clarence, all of Waupun; and one sister, Mrs. Lewis Stebbins, Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Reformed Church. The Rev. Donald Boss officiated. Burial was in the Alto cemetery.
Her body lay in state from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home and from noon until the time of services Wednesday at the church.

Alvin “Sonny” Van Buren, 83, of rural Fox Lake, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1920, in the Town of Alto, the son of Aldert and Jeanette Landaal Van Buren.
Sonny farmed in the Town of Trenton most of his life. He was an avid horseman, training and showing horses all his life.
Sonny is survived by his two sisters, Doris (Donald) Daane of Waupun and June (Melvin) Thieleke of Randolph; two nieces; five nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a nephew.
• Services: Funeral services for Sonny Van Buren will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Rick Boon officiating. Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery in Alto.
• Visitation: Friends and relatives of Sonny Van Buren may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. time of service at the funeral home.
