The Daily Register-Mar. 15, 1990: POYNETTE — Allen R. Bisbee, age 81, of Poynette died on Tuesday evening, March 13,1990 at the Good Sameritan Center in Lodi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 1990 at 2p.m. at the Pflanz Funeral Home in Poynetie with Rev. Thomas Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, March 15, 1990 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pflanz Funeral Home in Poynette. Allen Bisbee was born on June 21, 1908 in Poynette, the son of Ira and Kitty (Loomis) Bisbee. He was married to the former Leone Lucas in July of 1932 in Milwaukee. He had worked as a mechanic at Portage Hosiery and was a member of the Poynette United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Leone Bisbee of Poynette; his son, Robert (Pauline) Bisbee of Arlington; two sisters, Lucy (Bill) Colsiad of Poynette and Lula (Roland) Richardt of Wausau; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other near relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Elaine Barden; and one granddaughter, Paula Bisbee.
