Audrey A. Peters, born August 15, 1937 in Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; died August 10, 1984 in University of Wisconsin, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin.
Allen (Pete) Peters, 77, 123 North Forest St., Waupun, died at his home Friday morning, of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Oct. 19, 1900, in Waupun, the son of Allen and Edith Harmsen Peters.
He was married to the former Adeline Kastien Oct. 7, 1925, in Alto. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Waupun. Mr. Peters was employed by varouis business in Waupun as a maintence man.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Van Buren, Waupun; one grandson and three sisters, Mrs. George Westerveld, Alto; Mrs. John Hagens, Brandon; and Edith Peters, Waupun. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. The Rev. Donald Boss officated. Burial followed at the Alto Cemetery.
Adeline Peters, 81, a resident of Care Center East, Fond du Lac, formerly of 123 Forest St., Waupun, died on Monday, May 10, 1982 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
The funeral was Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, with the Rev. Irven Jungling officiating. Burial was in Alto Cemetery in Alto.
Mrs. Peters was born March 15, 1901 in Alto the daughter of Theodore and Johanna (Glewen) Kastein. She was married to Allen Peters, Jr. in Alto in Oct. 1925.
The couple farmed in the Alto area for many years and moved to Waupun in 1943. Mrs. Peters was employed by the Hotel Waupun as a cleaning lady for 27 years. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Waupun.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Van Buren, Waupun; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Marvin Kastein, Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.
