Annis Cora Winnifred Vant Hoff was born December 31, 1918 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, and died November 15, 2000 in Markesan Redident's Home, Markesan, Green Lake County, Wisconsin.  She married David Ver Hage July 29, 1938 in Gerrit Vant Hoff's home, Waupun Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  He was born November 14, 1913 in Alto Township, Alto,  Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died  January 5 1997, Markesan Residence Home Inc., Markesan, Green Lake County, Wisconsin.

Annis Ver Hage, 81, of Waupun, died Wednesday, Nov 15, 2000, at Markesan Resident's Home, Markesan.
The funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m., at the Bethel Lutheran Reformed Church, Waupun. The Rev. Jeff Brower will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
Mrs. Ver Hage was born on Dec. 31, 1918, the daughter of Garret and Annie Vant Hoff. She married on July 29, 1938, to David Ver Hage in Waupun.
Mrs. Ver Hage attended Waupun schools graduating from Waupun High School. She and her husband resided in Waupun all their married life. They owned Ver Hage Implement and founded Waupun Equipment in 1968. She was employed as a bookkeeper and in the parts department unitl 1970. She was employed by her sons at Ver Hage Funiture Mart until 1985. She was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church, where she was a organist and active in the Ladies Society. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Central Wisconsin Christian Schools.
Survivors include one daughter, Judith (Merlin) Ten Pass, Orlanda, Fla,; three sons, Ronald (Donna) Ver Hage, Lynnwood, Wash., Wayne (Jennie) Ver Hage, Waupun, and Alan (Shirley) Ver Hage, Waupun; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one step-brother, Ben (Josephien) Looman, Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, in 1997; one brother, one daughter-in-law, and one grandson.
Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 16, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Friday, Nov 17, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at Bethal Lutheran Reformed Church, Waupun.

WAUPUN - David Ver Hage, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 1997 at Markesan Residence Home Inc., after living at Friendship Haven, Waupun.
The funeral was Thursday, jan. 9, at Bethal Christian Reformed Church, Waupun. The Rev. Adrian Dieleman officiated. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
Mr. Ver Hage was born Nov. 14, 1913, son of Peter and Elizabeth (Buteyne) Ver Hage. He was married to Annis Vant Hoff on July 29, 1938 in Waupun.
He farmed with his wife in the Waupun area and in 1944 founded and operated Ver Hage Implement until 1969 when it became what is known as Waupun Equipment. After Retiring in 1976 he served as mayor of Waupun until 1979, when he resigned from office due to ill health. He was involved and served as elder and deacon of both Bethal Christian Reformed Church and First Christian Reformed Church, Waupun, directed a male chorus, taught Sunday School, and was a Young People Society leader. He was also a charter member of Bethal Christian Reformed Church, Waupun. He served on the board of Waupun Industrial Development, State Bank, First Interstate, Norwest Bank and the Board of Review. He also held positions on the boards of Waupun Christian Grade School and Central Wisconsin Christian High School.
Survivors include his wife, Annis; three sons, Ronald (Donna) of Lynwood, Wash., Wayne (Jeanne) and Alan (Shirley) both of Waupun; one daughter, Judith (Merle) Ten Pass of Clinton, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; one half sister; two half brothers; and one daughter-in-law.
Friends called on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Thursday, Jan. 9, at the church.
