Mrs. Audrey Van Buren, 46, of 812 Pioneer Ave., Waupun, died Friday, at University Hospital in Madison.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1937 in Alto the daughter of Allen and Adeline Peters Kastein. She married Raymond Van Buren on Nov. 28, 1975 and the couple lived in Waupun all their life. Mr. Van Buren died on Aug. 25, 1979. Mrs. Van Buren was a member of the 1st Reformed Church in Waupun. Survivors include; one son Keith Peters of Waupun and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services were held on Monday, at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Arnold Dykhuizen officiating. Burial followed at Forest Mound Cemetery.

Raymond (Red) Van Buren, 57, 812 Pioneer Ave., Waupun, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 1979, at Waupun Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec 21, 1921, in the town of Waupun, the son of William and Minnie Harmsen Van Buren. Mr.  Van Buren farmed for many years in the Waupun area until moving to Waupun in 1967 when he became employed by the city as a heavy equipment operator. On Nov. 28, 1975, he was married to the former Audrey Peters. Mr. Van Buren was a member of First Reformed Church, Waupun. He is survived by his widow; one step-son, Keith Peters, Waupun; 1 step-granddaughter. 1 brother, Lester Van Buren, Waupun; and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Josephine) Westhuis, Waupun; and Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Knoll, Beaver Dam. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister at infancy. Services for Mr. Van Buren were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Boss officiated. Burial followed at Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun. The family ask thats memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
