WAUPUN - Clarence J. Van Buren, 63, of Waupun, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at his home. The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Rick Boon will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton. Mr. Van Buren was born on Oct. 23, 1938, in the town of Chester, the son of Elmer and Josephine (Van Loo) Van Buren. He was to Arlene Fairbank in Waupun. Mr. Van Buren and his wife resided in the Waupun area all their married life. He operated a small appliance repair business out of his home for several years. He was a member of the First Reformed Church, Waupun. He was a devoted husband, loved his family, and enjoyed camping and fishing. He will be missed by those who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Van Buren, Waupun; one daughter, Tammy Van Buren, Waupun; two grandchildren, Samantha Van Buren and Toby Syens; his mother, Josephine Van Buren, Waupun; three brothers, Russell (Carol) Van Buren, Waupun, Erwin (Gail) Van Buren, Markesan, and LeRoy (Donna) Van Buren, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Van Buren, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Thursday, March 7, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
