Darlene M. Thorne, 62, Town of Dell Prairie, died Friday, July 24 at St. Clara Hospital, Baraboo. She was born in Mazomanie, Aug 23, 1935, the daughter of late Lyman B. and Aleva (Seibel) Albert. She married Wayne D. Thorne. She worked as waitress for years in Portage. She also worked as a clerk at the Amoca Gas Station in Lake Delton before retiring in 1997. Surviving are her husband, Wayne Thorne, Wisconsin Dells, daughter, Derba Yardley, Baraboo, brother, Eugene (Barbara) Albert, Milwaukee, and James Albert, Manitowoc; grandchildren, Daniel and Michael Murphy and Jeramie and Jamie Yardley; two great-grandchildren, Shawn and michelle Murphy. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jordon  Munch. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home, Friendship. The Rev. Dwight Condon officiated. Interment was in Easton Cemetery. Vistation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 27 at the funeral home.
