The Leader News-Sept. 26&27, 1989; Delores Mae Strehlow, 56, 628 S. Madison St., Waupun, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1989 at the Waupun Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Strehlow was born June 29, 1933 in Random Lake, Wis., the daughter of Freeman and Anna (Loose) Smits. She was married to Marvin Graff, June 30, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Wayne Strehlow. She had been employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Co., Beaver Dam for a number of years. Survivors include her husband Wayne, Waupun; one daughter Peggy (David) Scheuers of Smyrna, Tenn; two grandchildren, Amy and Alan Scheuers; one brother, Kenneth (Joanne) Smits of Waupun; her mother Anna Smits of Waupun; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 1974 and her first husband. Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Waupun, with the Rev. Carol J. Smith officiating. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, Town of Trenton. Visitation was held on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Kohls Funeral Home, Waupun, and Friday at the church from noon until the time of service. Any memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. |

WAUPUN ---- Marvin Graff, 43, 700 1/2 East Main St., Waupun died suddenly on Thursday evening, February 6, 1975, following an apparent heart attack at his home. He was dead on arrival at Waupun Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2 p.m. at the Kratz Funeral Home, Fox Lake. Rev. Kenneth W. Kohl will officiate at the service and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton. The late Mr. Graff was born o March 10, 1931, in Milwaukee County. He was married to the former Delores Smits on June 30, 1951, and had been employed at the Carnation Can Co., Waupun, for the past 27 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-53. Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. David (Peggy) Scheuers, Waupun; a granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Neitzke of Pewaukee, and Mrs. Thomas (Kaye) Melms, Madison; a brother, Leo Brueser of Sheboygan; and his mother, Mrs. Elmer Brueser of Pewaukee. Preceding in death was a brother. |
